Instagram Highlights Viewer

A highlight is a story its owner decided to keep. StoriesMask opens every highlight on a public @username with no account involved, so stories from months or years back can be watched and saved without anyone being told.

What it shows

Highlights, without the highlight-view record

When an account pins a story to its profile it becomes a highlight and outlives the 24-hour window. Instagram still records who opens a highlight, exactly as it does for a live story. StoriesMask reads highlights without an account, so there is no record: type a public username, switch to the Highlights tab and the covers appear in a row.

Pick a cover and the stories inside load as cards, each with the day it was originally posted. Play videos with sound, open photos at full size, download any of them, or play the whole highlight as a slideshow.

How it works

Opening a highlight anonymously

One search box, one extra tap.

01

Enter the username

Paste the public @username or profile link above and press View stories.

02

Open the Highlights tab

The covers appear in a row. The first one opens on its own so the tab never lands empty.

03

Browse the stories

Every story in that highlight loads in order with its posting date. Tap one for the full-screen player.

04

Save what you need

Press the download icon on any card. The file arrives at Instagram's own resolution, without a watermark.

Why StoriesMask

Why view highlights here

No viewer record. Instagram tracks highlight views too. StoriesMask keeps you off that list.

Years of stories. A highlight has no expiry, so whatever the owner kept since the account began loads here.

Dates included. See when each story in a highlight was originally posted.

Save any of them. JPG for pictures, MP4 with audio for clips.

Slideshow playback. Play a whole highlight the way the app does, with progress bars.

No login, no app. Runs in the browser on any phone or computer.

Good to know

Where highlights stop

A highlight holds only what its owner placed in it. A story that was never pinned expired after a day and is gone from Instagram; no tool brings it back. Highlights on private profiles are out of reach as well, because StoriesMask reads public profiles only.

Within those limits you get every public highlight in full: original quality, original audio, original dates, and no record of your visit.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is a highlight view recorded like a story view?

Not through StoriesMask. The view is never tied to an Instagram account, so your name appears nowhere.

Can I tell when a highlight story was first posted?

Yes. Each story card shows the date it was originally posted.

Is there a way to save every story in a highlight?

Yes. Save all downloads every story in the open highlight; each card also has its own button.

A profile shows no highlights. Why?

Either the owner never made any, or the profile is private. Private profiles are not opened by StoriesMask.

Is the saved file the same as the original?

Yes. It is the file Instagram serves, passed through unchanged.

Do I need an account?

No. Nothing on StoriesMask asks you to sign in or sign up.

Does it work with posts and reels too?

Yes. The same profile page has Stories, Posts and Reels tabs next to Highlights.

Can I open highlights on a profile that blocked me?

If the account is public, yes, because no Instagram account of yours is involved. Private accounts are never shown.

Ready to look without being seen?

Type any public Instagram username. No account, no app, no trace. The mask is already on.
