What it shows

Who followed recently, in a readable list

Instagram's follower list is sorted in a way nobody can read, and it hides the one thing worth knowing: who arrived lately. StoriesMask pulls the newest followers of a public profile into a short, readable list, and does the same for the accounts the profile recently followed. Tap any name to open that profile, still anonymously.

Both lists are read-only. They show only what the public profile already exposes; StoriesMask never follows or unfollows anyone, and the account is not told the lists were opened.

How it works

Checking recent followers

Three taps from the search box.

01

Search the username

Paste a public @username or profile link above and press Watch stories.

02

Open the lists

Under the profile card, tap the followers count for the newest followers or the following count for recent follows.

03

Jump to any account

Tap a name in the list to open that account's stories, highlights, posts and reels.

04

Keep an eye on it

Add the profile to your watchlist and reopen it in one tap next time.

Why StoriesMask

Ways to use it

Watch a creator grow. See which accounts are following them right now, not just the total.

Catch new connections. A brand that just followed a creator usually means a campaign is on its way.

Look at your own account. Search your public username and see who followed you last.

Study an audience. Scan a competitor's newest followers to learn who they are pulling in.

Nobody is told. Nothing is sent and nothing changes on Instagram.

No account needed. It runs without an Instagram login.

Good to know

What it cannot do

The tracker cannot show followers of a private profile, cannot tell who unfollowed, and cannot tell who viewed a story; that data lives only inside Instagram. What it shows is a sample of the most recent followers and follows, not the full list, because that is all public profile data makes available.

Think of it as a snapshot. Instagram sometimes throttles follower data, so a profile may show fewer names at one moment than at another.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does the account find out I opened its followers?

No. The lists are read from public data with no account, so nothing is recorded and nothing is sent.

Does it show unfollows?

No. Instagram does not expose unfollows, and no tool can list them reliably.

What about private profiles?

They cannot be searched. Public profiles only.

How many names are in the list?

The most recent ones, usually around ten. It is a sample, not the complete follower list.

Can I use it on my own profile?

Yes, if it is public. Search your username and tap the followers count.

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up.

Can I see a profile's following list too?

Yes. Tap the following count under the profile card for the accounts it recently started following.

Does the list update live?

It is read fresh each time you search. Search again to see newer entries.

Ready to look without being seen?

Type any public Instagram username. No account, no app, no trace. The mask is already on.
